![]() ![]() Grant Morrison’s Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne was pretty poor. The basic story is strong, but it seems to get caught up in the theatrics.īatman’s return is the highlight of the book but also kind of wrecks the story. The comic book is kind of all over the place however and Morrison does try too hard to shock and impress the readers. There are some great moments in Batman and Robin Must Die! From Dick Grayson getting shot in the head to the Joker’s sadistic plans, the comic book also has the return of Bruce Wayne as Batman. ![]() The series does hold true for Grant Morrison. Morrison’s run in Batman did make me interested in the character again (which is ironic since I am not a huge Batman fan). Grant Morrison is one of those tricky writers.
